Health and Safety 2024 - 2025

Your cooperation at arrival and dismissal times will ensure the safety of all children. Discuss these rules with your children so that all may observe the proper traffic rules each day. Nothing is more important than the safety of the students. If other people pick up your children, please direct them in the proper traffic safety rules for St. Paul Catholic School.

• Always yield to Safety Patrol;
• There is no parking anywhere around the perimeters of the school during drop-off and dismissal times;
• Parents must not drop off or pick up students on Grosse Pointe Boulevard between Lee Gate Drive and the Grosse Pointe Academy;
• Students shall always exit/enter vehicle on the curbside, never from the second lane;
• NO DOUBLE PARKING AT ANY TIME
• After your children exit your vehicle, whenever possible, do not pull out into the through traffic lane. Follow the vehicle in front of you to the nearest exit area;
• Parents wishing to walk their children into school must park their vehicles in the parking lot and cross at designated crosswalks; 
• Please do not block the sidewalks. The safety patrol need to assist children crossing the driveway;
• There are no U-Turns on Grosse Pointe Boulevard;
• Parents of students in Grades 1-8, please do not park along the curb of the driveways until after 3:10 pm. The curbs are reserved for the Kindergarten and Preschool parents until 3:10 pm;
• When driving in the parking lot, please remember the speed limit is 10 mph and please do not cut across the parking lot between parked cars. We need to keep everyone safe!
