I grew up on a small farm about an hour southeast of Kansas City. I have a brother and a sister. I went to a small high school where I played football, basketball, and participated in track. I played two years of college football at what is now Missouri State. I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a BSE in social studies in 2002. I received my Master’s in Educational Administration in 2006 from UCM. I taught and coached for fourteen years in Missouri. I have taught physical education and social studies; while I have coached football, basketball, and track. I am married to my wife, Laura. Our son, Dylan was born last May. This is my third year at St. Paul.
