My name is Mrs. Ann Marie Catalano and I am a very happy and blessed first grade teacher. This is my eleventh year at St Paul Catholic School and I am always very excited to meet all of my new first graders. I am a graduate of Wayne State University and have been teaching for thirty+ years, part of that time in third grade and the majority of time in first grade...my true love! I am always in awe of my new group of first graders and how much they grow and mature in our year together. They truly make me smile every day and I thank God for all of them...past , present and future.
Along with my love of first grade comes my love of family. I am very blessed to be one of nine children with both of my parents now watching me from heaven. I consider my eight siblings (and their spouses) my best friends and I am very proud of each of them. Thirty five years ago I married the love of my life, Marty, and together we have two grown boys, Matthew and Andrew. Our oldest son and his wife have blessed us with two beautiful grandsons, Parker (5 and 1/2) and Robert (4)....the newest loves of my life!
